Un tetto, una donna, probabilmente una scienziata, nervosa. Un altro scienziato, socievole, ottimista. Una situazione che rivela man mano la tensione, rivela man mano lo scenario, fino alla conclusione apparentemente drammatica.
Liminal è soprattutto una prova attoriale. C'è una trama e un mistero, e un tema decisamente fantascientifico, ma in un certo senso sono più che altro un pretesto per mettere in luce la recitazione in due ruoli quasi antitetici ma molto intensi.
Registi del corto sono Collin Davis e Matt Litwiller, autori in particolare del corto Telescope, mentre gli interpreti sono Anna Campbell nella parte di Gwen e Max Lesser in quella di Tim. Compare anche per pochi secondi John Isaac Watters nel ruolo di Harper.
