Nel week-end appena trascorso si è svolto a Seattle il Locus Weekend, una convention di fantascienza nel corso della quale vengono assegnati i Premi Locus, il riconoscimento basato sul voto del propri lettori assegnato dalla rivista Locus. Tra i vincitori molti autori noti in Italia – Scalzi, Okorafor, N.K. Jemisin in arrivo su Urania e Oscar Fantastica (anche col romanzo vincitore), e Samuel R. Delany con un nuovo racconto. Ma anche tanti nomi nuovi da scoprire.
